Yi-an Yang
Yi-an is a federally registered U.S. State Department contract interpreter and a court-certified interpreter with 22 years of experience in law, finance, and manufacturing. She has worked with financial advisors, board members, and foundation committees managing endowments from $100M to $1.3B, facilitating high-level strategic discussions and supporting mergers and acquisitions.
Her expertise extends to fabrication plants and pressure vessel manufacturers, ensuring precision in technical, regulatory, and business negotiations. Recognized as the Most Valuable Interpreter, she combines deep industry knowledge with linguistic accuracy to support executive decision-making.
With dual master’s degrees in Health Communication from Northwestern University and Interpretation Studies from Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan, she founded Syntrans Chinese Communication Consulting to help law firms, corporate leaders, healthcare professionals, and industry experts navigate complex cross-border communication with clarity and precision.
Outside of work, she enjoys cooking and swimming with her family.

Lead Linguist, Maggie Hong, MA in Interpretation Sutides
Maggie is a professionally trained conference interpreter, certified court and medical interpreter, and published translator with experience spanning international organizations, government agencies, Fortune 500 companies, top universities, and law firms in both China and the United States.
Believing that "Interpreting is both science and art," she blends precision with fluency to deliver seamless communication. A U.S. State Department contract interpreter and a federally qualified court interpreter, she has also contributed to major global events, including translating publications for the Hangzhou G20 Summit.
An entrepreneurial linguist and perfectionist, Maggie is committed to providing top-quality interpreting and translation services that every client deserves.
Lead Linguist, Jingyi Wang, MA in Interpretation Studies
Jingyi is an experienced conference interpreter and translator based in New York City, with a diverse background spanning China, Europe, and the U.S. She has worked as an in-house interpreter for a health insurance company in Shanghai, a project manager at a translation firm in London, and an adjunct interpreting instructor at NYU.
Believing that "every interpreting assignment is a journey of problem-solving and exploration," she has provided interpreting services for governmental bodies, NGOs, universities, and private organizations at major international events. A New York State Court Interpreter and ATA-certified translator, she also specializes in technical and marketing translations for scuba diving, combining her love for languages with her passion as a certified Advanced Open Water diver.
